The careers we offer graduate engineers at Johnson Matthey Process Technologies are as refined as the products we create
You will be given the chance to use your chemical engineering skills from day one, putting all your learning into practice.
What does Process Technologies do?
Process Technologies Division brings together several businesses all serving the oil, gas, commodity chemicals, petrochemicals, and fine chemicals industries. We pride ourselves on our technical expertise and the relationships we foster with our customers are built from the appreciation of the knowledge base we can bring to support their business.
Where we are
Positions will initially be based in the North East, London or our Clitheroe (Lancashire) manufacturing site, though there are opportunities for international assignments. All sites present real and exciting opportunities for graduate engineers.
Who we`re looking for
We're looking for ambitious Chemical and Mechanical Engineers with a passion to succeed in the Process Technologies business who or are expected to achieve a 2:1 or above. Begin developing your management potential and engineering skills with our IChemE and IMechE accredited training schemes, which bring to you exciting and stimulating career prospects.
What we offer you
At the beginning of our IChemE and IMechE accredited development programme, all of our graduates go through a three-week intensive induction programme alongside global colleagues. Here, you'll be trained on the core technologies of the business as well as being given a broad overview of what we do and develop a network of technical and commercial contacts.
The training starts to get more intensive when you embark on your first rotation. You'll be given technical and general business skills training. Developing both your personal and professional qualities is really important to us. So you'll have your own mentor to guide and advise you until you achieve chartered status.
Opportunities to work on international projects using leading technologies will further enhance your skills and passion for chemical or mechanical engineering.
