Johnson Matthey is a world leader in advanced materials technology. Our major manufacturing and development facility at Royston, near Cambridge develops and manufactures platinum group metal alloy sheet, wire, tube and other fabricated products for chemical, medical, glass and other essential industrial applications worldwide.

We are seeking well-motivated applicants with a good degree in a materials oriented subject such as Materials Science or Ceramics, with knowledge of metallurgy. Some industrial experience would be an advantage. Enjoyment of getting to grips with practical technology, excellent communications and PC skills are essential.

Successful candidates will work in the Development Team solving problems through leading edge precious metals technology to enhance processes and develop new products for the Noble Metals business.
