Other Opportunities

We welcome graduates who want to develop their careers in all areas of the business

We offer a limited range of jobs in our support departments to top level graduates. These teams help to keep the company running smoothly and ensure our systems and support mechanisms are constantly improved. Vacancies in Information Systems, Finance and Human Resources occur in both our London and Royston offices as well as individual business unit sites across the UK.

What would it be like?

You will start in a real job that will stretch, challenge and develop you. You'll be involved in cross functional team working and attend training to develop your understanding of the company, your personal skills and your network of contacts at all levels throughout the business.

In Finance...

Based in either the London or Royston office you'll be involved in financial accounting, treasury, or internal auditing. Working in a regional business unit you'll be involved in product costing and management information. You'll be expected to study for a professional accountancy qualification – ACCA or CIMA, and we offer support for your examinations.

In Information Systems...

The Johnson Matthey group's financial procedures, production control, resource planning, sales and marketing and office automation functions require highly sophisticated computer systems. We constantly look for ways to improve our efficiency and to operate more effectively. Our IT expertise is crucial to this. Here your work will be project based. Your development will be backed by specialist training from external suppliers and concentrated support from your professional colleagues.

In Human Resources...

Graduate opportunities also arise in this most vital and challenging area. Here you will gain a broad range of generalist experience in recruitment, training, reward management and employee relations. You'll also receive specialist training relevant to your job and will study for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification.
