There are opportunities in our Finance function in our main offices in London and Royston, UK and in our businesses too.
In the fast moving area of Information Systems, we are always looking for ways to improve our efficiency, while our Human Resources function covers recruitment, training, reward management and employee relations.
What would it be like?
You will start in a real job that will really stretch you and help you develop. You'll be involved in cross functional team working and will attend training sessions to develop your understanding of the company, your personal skills and your network of contacts at all levels throughout the business
If you are based in either the London or Royston office, you'll be involved in financial accounting, treasury or internal auditing. Working in a regional business you'll be involved in product costing and management information.
You'll be expected to study for a professional accountancy qualification – ACCA, CIMA or similar – and we offer support for your examinations.
The Johnson Matthey group's financial procedures, production control, resource planning, sales and marketing and office automation functions require highly sophisticated computer systems, and our IT expertise is crucial to this. Here your work will be project based.
Your development will be backed by specialist training from external suppliers and concentrated support from your professional colleagues.
Graduate joiners will gain a broad range of generalist experience and receive specialist training for your job. You will study for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification or similar.
