How you start out
You join a business in a job with real responsibility, but you'll be part of a team. For example, you could be a commercial assistant selling prototype catalysts to the car industry or a sales and marketing assistant in customer service. You'll be office based and build up your product and technology knowledge through a support role.
You'll take on responsibility for visiting customers, both in the country you are based and probably overseas
You may deal with customer enquiries and orders, liaise with development and produce quotes and production schedules. You'll monitor progress to ensure customers get what they ordered at the right time.

Who are we looking for?
We seek graduates in any degree discipline who have an interest in science and technology and are looking to join a global company with opportunities to work overseas during their career. It's also a real advantage for you to be proficient in a second language in addition to English.
We're looking for doers: you need to be quick on the uptake and get things done. A way with people and words is essential – not only will you be involved in making presentations to customers, but you'll also have to calm people when things get demanding and persuade them to find a win–win deal.
