Johnson Matthey publishes its Annual Report and Accounts 2023

Johnson Matthey has published its Annual Report and Accounts 2023. It summarises our financial and non-financial performance for the year ending 31st March 2023, including progress against our strategic milestones and our sustainability commitments.

Liam Condon, CEO of Johnson Matthey, says: “As a global society we face big challenges. Many of the world’s leading energy, chemicals and automotive companies depend on Johnson Matthey’s technology and expertise to decarbonise, reduce harmful emissions and improve their sustainability.”

He says: “In this report we explain some of the ways our solutions are already helping our customers meet their ambitions, and how we will create value for them and wider society over the coming years. Even while we reduce our own operational footprint to achieve net zero by 2040. We know it’s not enough to be purpose-led: we also need to be performance-driven. If we are to enable this transformation for our customers, we must transform too.”

The report also explores:

  • Each of the core businesses, looking at their individual performance as well as how their innovative technologies or approaches are helping customers in the energy transition

  • An update on sustainability goals, targets, and performance

  • Our approach to corporate governance, including remuneration

Johnson Matthey works with customers and partners across automotive, chemicals and energy markets. It has operations in over 30 countries and employs more than 12,600 people worldwide.
