Iridium(III) chloride, or iridium trichloride, is a chloride based iridium salt in the 3+ oxidation state. The hydrated form is soluble in water and alcohols.

Application
Iridium(III) chloride is used as a precursor to other Ir(III) and Ir(I) inorganic and organometallic compounds.
