Rhodium chloride solid

Rhodium chloride solid contains rhodium in a 3+ oxidation state, is hygroscopic and contains a mixture of coordinated hydrochloric acid and water.

Application
Rhodium chloride solid is used as a precursor to make heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysts.  It is hazardous, so must be handled with appropriate precautions.
