Application

• Hydrogenation of conjugated diene copolymers, for example acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR)
• Hydrogenation of ring-opening metathesis polymers, such as norbornene and other cyclic olefin ROMP polymers used as plastics, resins and optical materials
• Hydrogenation of aldehydes and ketones
• Useful as a raw material to produce other Ru-hydride catalysts
