Ruthenium Wills catalysts
Johnson Matthey’s portfolio of ruthenium Wills catalysts provides high conversion selectivity in transformations where ruthenium Noyori catalysts are less effective. They work under both transfer hydrogenation and hydrogenation conditions in the reduction of carbonyl and imine moieties. Very low and cost-effective catalyst loadings can be achieved on a vast number of poly-functionalised ketones and imines, including bulky ketones and acyclic imines.
