Neeraj Shah

Group EHS Director

My journey so far

I recently joined JM as Group EHS Director. A chemical engineer by training, previous to JM I’ve had various roles in production, product development and EHS across different industries. I’m a fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, a chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and I also have an MBA from the London Business School.

Having noticed that JM was voted as one of the most admired companies to work for in a recent survey, I was immediately drawn to the opportunity. I believed I could positively contribute to JM’s EHS vision of preventing injuries and occupational illnesses, and also to its sustainability vision by helping achieve one of its core principles of reducing environmental impact.

I’ve found JM to be an ethical company with a friendly, innovative culture. Although my children are my biggest inspiration, I'm hugely inspired by the courage and conviction of those working at JM, and it’s my goal to help the company achieve a safer workplace for all our employees which is immensely rewarding.

The company is in a position to make a huge difference for generations now and in the future due to its vision of a cleaner and healthier world. Our products and technologies are what make the company unique, and they provide our customers with environmental and quality of life benefits.
