This catalyst is Rh(2-ethylhexanoate)₃ in 2-ethylhexanol. It is used for hydrosilylation reactions between vinyl and Si-H groups.

Rh-2EH may be used for hydrosilylation reactions where enhanced resistance to poisons is desired. The catalyst is supplied dissolved in organic solvent.
