Seasons greetings message

In 2021, science, innovation and sustainability have been centre stage. The ongoing roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccines highlighted the importance of scientific collaboration and showed that science and innovation are key to tackling the world’s biggest issues.

Taking on the world's most complex issues has been our mission for more than 200 years, using our inspiring science to enhance the lives of millions.

As COP26 put net zero and sustainability at the front of media headlines this year, JM announced our own ambitious sustainability goals and targets. These included reaching net zero in our own operations by 2040, and increasing the positive impact of our products and services on the world. Those products will be used by our customers to enable the transitions the world needs, driving down transport emissions, transforming our energy systems, decarbonising chemical production and creating a truly circular economy.

Read on below for some examples of how JM has been making the world cleaner and healthier in the last twelve months.
