How does it work?
Are you ready to begin a stimulating and challenging career journey with us? Does the idea of collaborating with new people, living and working in new locations and building your leadership and technical skills sound appealing to you? Join the JM Global Graduate Programme in four steps and start your career with us.
1. Check the entry requirements and apply online
Choose the relevant link below, submit a CV and carefully complete the application form to apply. We really want to understand why you are applying for your chosen programme and how your academic and wider experience to date will help you succeed.
2. Pre-Assessment centre screening
Selected UK candidates will be asked to complete online assessment tests. Successful applicants for all regions will then be contacted to participate in a video interview.
Following successful screening, you will be invited to participate in an assessment at one of JM's assessment centres. This will include a full day programme that will give you the opportunity to display your leadership skills and talents. You will also meet experienced leaders and technical experts from within JM, and learn more about the JM Graduate Programme and the career opportunities that exist at the company.
4. Final interview
The final stage of the recruitment process is an interview with one of our senior managers and the opportunity to tour one of our sites.
Our business operates in highly technical fields, so ideally, you’ll have earned a technical degree (minimum 2.1) at Bachelor’s level or above in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related field.
Yes, we will inform you if your application has been unsuccessful, however due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to give feedback until application centre stage.
For our global Graduate Programme, we operate on an ongoing recruitment basis, closing each role as they become oversubscribed. As such we encourage early application.
As the applications process is the same for each stream, we recommend you only apply once. However, if you are interested in more than one role, please make this known on your application form.
The 2021 programme will begin in September 2021.
Yes you are. As long as you meet the entry criteria we would welcome your application.
The global programme requires you to be geographically mobile as you will undertake three placements within your country of employment. It is likely that these placements will see you experience different sites as well as different business sectors.
Yes. Whether you are joining our two year global Graduate Programme or joining us through a direct hire role, at the end of the programme, you will be supported in finding a suitable permanent position in the business.
