JM gave me the opportunity to develop as an engineer in the Continuous Improvement department. After just two years I was invited by the Quality Manager to participate in CI engineer selection, taking control of various projects. Since then, after being appointed the Coordinator of the area, I’ve been able to use my creativity in the different programs.

The company’s global status and its emphasis on career progression were the main things that attracted me to the role. During my several years here I’ve come a long way. Throughout the recruitment process, the Plant Manager told me about the chances I would have to develop myself if I accepted the position.

The people are what make JM unique. Their friendly nature, respect towards each other and motivation to succeed make for an enjoyable working environment at the plant. They help inspire me to make a difference and are incredibly respectful towards me, especially in the beginning when I felt it would be a challenge to gain credibility because I didn’t have a great deal of knowledge in engineering.

I’d advise new starters to take advantage of every opportunity at JM. The company gave me the platform to grow because I always try to do things with the best attitude and look to transmit positive energy in order to get the best results. I take great pride in my work, especially the projects I’ve been a huge part of, and if you share the same enthusiasm, you can achieve great things at JM.
