Unrivalled catalyst stability and performance
The unique promoters in KATALCO 51-102 provide exceptional resistance to thermal sintering, a common cause of catalyst deactivation and die-off. This improves methanol productivity and extends the life of the catalyst, enabling methanol producers to maintain optimal performance and produce more methanol for longer.
KATALCO 51-102’s enhanced stability allows methanol plants to operate at lower temperatures for longer, which will reduce the formation of by-products throughout the catalyst's lifetime. It's ideal for low-circulation synthesis loops. The stability of KATALCO 51-102 helps maintain high natural gas efficiency, which is key for methanol production, even under high steam pressure conditions.
